A few things should be considered when mapping out your event:

• You will want your map/guide to be easy to read and interpret (pictures help immensely)

• You should make it comprehensible even for children who might not be able to read

  • Consider designating a help desk to direct any attendees in need of assistance

• Think about traffic flow and lines for food and activities

• Map out areas for food and beverages, away from designated restroom facilities (please)

• Parking and event exits should be labeled clearly

• Consider accessibility and overall ambience when mapping out specific event areas

• Again we don’t want the rodeo next to the concession stand!

• Consider creating maps like these ones on Canva or other easy to use sources!
